Celebrating Brooklyn

Who We Are

A non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, CCBB was created to promote and protect the common interests of the residents of the Brooklyn community. The CCBB was formed by concerned members of the community who have the common goals of improving their neighborhoods and addressing concerns together. All the efforts of the CCBB are supported through grants, membership dues, donations, fundraising events and the hard work of many volunteers.

I am only one, but still I am one. I cannot do everything, but still I can do something.  Because I cannot do everything, I will not refuse to do the something that I can do.  – Edmund Everett Hale

What We Want

  • To promote and facilitate residents' responsibilities in the preservation of our neighborhoods.
  • To educate residents about services, programs and opportunities that can improve their lives.
  • To promote cooperation and coordination between Brooklyn, other community organizations, government agencies and the business community.

Our Strategies

  • Provide a forum where residents can discuss issues of importance.
  • Encourage frank, honest and open discussions that lead to proactive solutions.
  • Vigorously pursue improvements necessary to enhance the quality of life in our community.
  • Foster positive alliances with City, State and Federal agencies and officials, churches, schools, other non-profits and businesses.
